Annual physical examinations are an important part of keeping your pet healthy and happy for many years. The doctors take time to examine your pet from nose to tail and communicate their findings with you. Also recommended on an annual basis a heartworm screen and intestinal parasite screen. Heartworm disease can shorten the life of your pet, and intestinal parasites can lead to gastrointestinal problems and can be passed to humans. Samples are collected at the time of exam and the results are given on the same day for heartworm screens or next day for intestinal parasite screens.
